I agree with your post but think the closeness and nature of the Penn State-Ohio State game and the Gopher-Ohio State game had to do with the "warm feelings" between the Gophers and Buckeyes.
The Buckeyes wanted to thrash and humiliate the Gophers, and did so.
The same fire did not exist vs the Nits.
Gave OSU a much better game than we did. If we do not get it going Saturday I see a loss unfortunate;y.
