PSU is 3-4 in most recent games vs Big Ten West opponents.

Two of the wins close vs Purdue and Bucky..ten point win over NW.

vs Minnesota in 2019: lost 31-36 here

vs Purdue in 2022: won late in West Lafayette to beat Purdue 35-31 in season opener

vs NW in 2022: won vs hapless Wildcats 17-7 in Happy Valley

vs Illini in 2021: lost 20-18 in OT in Happy Valley

vs Iowa in 2021: lost 23-20 in Kinnick

vs Bucky in 2021: won 16-10 in the Camp

vs Nebraska in 2020: lost 30-23 in Lincoln

They are as beatable as Purdue or Illinois. In fact, Illinois is likely better. The question is what team will show up to play them. If we are able to hold them down with our defense and get our running game going we should be able to keep it close.
If we want to win though, it will hinge on what we are able to do in the passing game IMO.
