From GI:
Owatonna defensive lineman Andrew Stelter
"Junior day went really good. They gave a presentation and then we met with our position coaches. After that I met with Coach Kill and we talked about the program and how important I am to him and the program. He talked to my parents about stuff too. They really like Coach Kill and the program a lot. I really like it there," he added. "I am planning to take as long as I need to until I know where I belong. I would say Minnesota has the best shot right now."
Madison (Ala.) linebacker Nick Holman
"It went awesome! I got to meet with Coach Kill for about 15 minutes after the junior day stuff and he told me that they are really high on me. He said they are going to review my film soon and get back to me after signing day," Holman said. "The facilities were awesome. The nicest locker room I've ever been in! I also talked to Coach Miller for about 45 minutes about their defensive schemes and stuff. We also talked about the program and how they are up and coming. He said him and Coach Sawvel will be down to watch me in the spring and I'm a top target."
Spring Lake Park athlete Eji Ejiya
"Junior day was a great experience. We met with our position coaches and talked with them and afterwards I was one of the few that got to talk privately with Coach Kill. He said that he was really interested in me. I also talked to Bill Miller the linebackers coach," the in-state 2014 recruit revealed. "Minnesota seems like a great school."
Cretin-Derham Hall running back Blake Banham
"It went well, my dad and I got pulled aside to sit down and have a private meeting with Coach Kill. He said that we are really interested in you. He said after signing day it's going to be big for you," Banham said. "He said he is going to bring me in after signing day and sit down with me again, let me hang out with the team, go to meetings, and stuff like that. I plan to head back down there sometime after signing day."
Mesquite (Texas) running back Justyn Oliphant
"It was real good, they took me and this kid named Kamren Lott on a tour of the athletic facilities before junior day because we traveled so far. We saw the weight room, academic hall, the locker room, all the equipment, and then went to the stadium. We met and ate with all of the coaches then toured some more stuff like the hall of fame and the game day locker room," added the Texas native. "We met with our position coaches and I got a chance to meet with receivers and running backs coach. They said the liked my film and Coach Poore said I fit in well for a slot back on their team. I met with Coach Kill and we sat down and talked for awhile about academics and he also said my film was good. He said they will keep in contact. I was really impressed with Minnesota. The fans are great and it's a great university."
Mukwonago (Wisc.) linebacker Dominic Cizauskas
"I enjoyed it. I love what Minnesota has to offer," the Wisconsin native said. "I talked at length with Coach Zebrowski and the linebackers coaches to see where I'm at on the recruiting board. It sounds like good things are ahead in the future. They didn't tell me if I was 1, 2, or 3, but I got the impression I was in position to fill one of the spots. I need to go to camp this summer though. I feel like the coaches and I are building a relationship."
I will add more to this tomorrow night and Burnsie/MOC will add to this as well. I'll also have a story on one of my favorite 2014 recruits Gaelin Elmore from Somerset, Wisconsin in the coming days.
