Showed up and did a great job!

Blame marketing, and the fact that they were produced & shipped from China.

I agree, the guy sitting next to us commented on the great turnout.

HEADS UP....There are a load of people trying to sell their tickets for the USC game, I'm not sure whether it's the fact that they gave up already or think they can make money on the ticket, which people are insanely asking $40 I've seen...but we'll see the true colors of us students if we all come back this saturday, luckily it's a 2:30 game I think so people will have plenty of time to wake up and drink

I agree with the kudos for the students this week! Too much grief is directed their way for not showing up to the games. We should be focusing our efforts on praising thsoe that do show up. It's not easy to sit through games where you team doesn't show up to play AT HOME! In my opinion the students were the only thing working right on Saturday. Now if they could only cook the hot dogs too so we don't run out before the 2nd quarter!

We'll if they show up at the end of the seaons when the hawks come to town to break in Kinnick North. It's be basketball and hockey in doors for those kids. Let us know, we'll gladly buy your tickets as it will likely be last stop before......THE ROSE BOWL.

I'll take some of what you are smokin'

The USC ticket is probably only the third of fourth most valuable ticket of the year.

Demand won't be too great. Most of the people in the market for scalped tickets are probably local football fans who are curious to see USC.

I highly doubt the Trojans will be bringing a large contingent.

The Iowa ticket is where the money is. Followed by OSU.

My brother was pleasantly surprised to get $450 for his 4 USC tickets, and he certainly expects to get more for the Iowa and OSU games.

I will burn my Hogeye tix before I would sell them to one of those hayseeds!

Honestly, do they do ANYTHING right?

This is a great question. How the heck you get yellow shirts instead of gold for a Big Ten program is beyond me. I could see a DIII program making that mistake

Students definitely showed up for the game and that is part of what made the loss hurt so much. They did their part. Team (Brewster) did not.
