High of 41 and low of 28 with 20% chance of rain or snow.

I hate to see TCF half full or half MT in the first year but it could happen......

half empty for sure

If your any degree of sports fan let alone a Gopher fan, you should be there. This is an opportunity for a pretty good game.

I can't remember an October with worse weather than we've had this year (not counting the Halloween blizzard). That being said, the place should be rocking with a high around 40 and it being a night game on Halloween. Absolutely no excuses. Hell when it hits 40 in January around here you see people out in shorts. I can't believe anyone would actually consider that cold (unless you are from Texas, Florida, etc.).

The weather this year has been horrible across the Big Ten country. But another couple of cold, rainy games and some Gopher fans will start to lament the move from the Dome! The only solution - tailgate like crazy beforehand...the weather doesn't hurt as much then.

Perfect football weather. It will be rockin'!

The bus we take from Moes in Mounds View has an average age approaching 65-70. It will be interesting to see if the bus fills. So far, so good even with some iffy weather to date.

it will be packed, but a early blow out would send the student section outta the stadium faster than you can blink. lets go beat them spartans

anyone got a good line on a reversible blanket where one side's water-resistant and the other is warm? And does Goldy's still have those gold ponchos?

I think the bad weather this year will probably push some older season ticket holders to not renew. That's a good thing for younger guys like me who would like to buy season tix next season.

Pretty sure it'll be warmer than that Purdue game, so people should be ready for it.

Could be brutal Saturday. That being said, if anyone wants to stay home and wait for trick-o-treaters and has 4 tickets and a tailgating spot let me know. We'll try struggle through the night.

I agree that there could be some major turnover in season ticket holders the first couple years.

I hope you're right. All I could get this year was a single season ticket, but with all the old folks around me I'm really hoping some don't re-up and I can get a few more seats. Sitting alone is fairly wack, but it keeps me cheering!

The big questions is: What costume is everyone wearing Saturday night?

this is fine with me. most of them are the fair-weather types that we need to weed out anyways. all that most of them seem to do is help the local ticket broker supply anyways, which i can't stand.

You Minny fans are so funny, blaming the weather for fans not showing up.

The worse our weather, the better our chances at a win. Bring on a 35 degree rain/sleet mix :D

Can this cold weather hater, have one more football game in good weather?

I've usually admired your powers of observation, but we've been on that bus three times. If you think the average is 65-70 then how many of the passengers do you think are between 100 and 110 years old?

Heck Ice, maybe we can do a survey? How about an intro if you will be on board this Saturday or maybe a beer B4 we hop on board. I will be with Mrs Bayfield who is more observant then me when it comes to age.

We're using our Parking Pass this week. We're going to get to the game around 6:30 not 5:00. We'll see you next week.

hey troll - don't you have to go and violate your becky badger stuffed animal (with the special hole in the back) right about now? piss off.

To be fair Bronko in his mind he has a point. It's been beaten to death on Badger boards that the reason there are thousands of empty seats at Camp Randall is because most of the students and many other fans need more time to get drunk before any 11:00 kick-off.

The Gopher/MSU game is a 7:00 pm kickoff. He has to naturally assume that there will be ample time to get drunk, thus negating any normal reason to miss the start of a game.
