Projected Defensive Depth Chart

Yes, he made no mention of Kamal Martin, unless he is assuming he will be redshirted.

Also, Rallis was playing very well at the end of last season in my opinion.

Size and speed. Plus, per his bio he played QB and safety.

I'm high on Kamal Martin as well but I believe a red shirt year is more that likely in order. Time will tell.

Rallis will be in the mix. I watched the Quick Lane bowl replay last weekend and he stood out. He's great on special teams and he'll be in the LB rotation.

He also had 9 tackles in the Wisconsin game

I think Rallis gets snaps against heavy run teams. He was very quick to the ball in the back half of the season.

Rallis was fun to watch against Wisconsin. He was everywhere.

I found it very strange that the author didn't think we had a lot of LB depth. IMO LB is probably our deepest position, with 6 or 7 guys who realistically could start and we wouldn't miss a beat. Agree with most of the rest though. DE is looking awfully thin, we really need Elmore and Ekpe to stay healthy.

rallis will definitely have a much bigger role this year.

pumped to see what sawvel can do with the keys to the entire defense.
