First thing I thought, too. I know I've seen it in regards to Illinois before. You are right, no way in today's PC world would you be allowed to say that!

I loved comparing the type of ads in the programs from the 20s and 30s to the 1981 program. I was surprised to see beer ads in the '81 program!

I particularly like p. 31, the rundown of our records from 1925-27. Check out our performance against Iowa- three straight shutouts smashings inflicted by the Gophers. Minnesota outscored Iowee 112-0 during that time. We went 2-0-1 against Wisconsin during that time as well.
