Article - Pregame Thoughts: at Indiana 2/2/11

"On Tuesday, Minnesota beat the bad weather and made it safely to Bloomington, Indiana. On Wednesday, they will look to beat a bad team in Assembly Hall. The game between the #18/#20 Gophers (16-5, 5-4) and Indiana Hoosiers (11-11, 2-7) is scheduled for 5:30pm CT, although some are worried that the game could be delayed or even canceled due to snow and ice. I’m more concerned that the game will be delayed due to Tom Crean demanding a banner-raising ceremony to memorialize last week’s home victory over a reeling Illinois team......."

Love the humor, GW - good stuff as always.

A nugget on Tom Pritchard after watching every Indiana BT game this year - watch the number of rebounds he gets where he juggles the ball. I think about 60% of his rebounds in BT play have been juggled.

Agree with you about Crean. Hard to work with and for (is what I'm told by those who have done both).

I read the whole article. That would not have happened if some adorable midget had not alerted me to how entertaining the articles can be.

With Watford out, who can Indiana rely on to defend Mbakwe, Sampson and Colton down low?

I think we can grind out a 10 point win if we stick to the inside game and shoot 70% or more on FT's.

lol

Skirt wearing Verdell :D

I love that.

Great job JB. I hope your spread and pick turn out to be golden.

:clap::clap::clap:

I feel extremely relaxed and comfortable about this game (the Marquette @ Villanova game at 6pm on ESPNU is another story).

Let's get through this one with no injuries and some good learning experiences. PS - there are still limited tickets available for Sunday's game against tOSU.

PS - Verdell Jones is dressed and warming up. He had been in sweats in recent games. Looks like he will try to go toinght.
