so far, Hoke has a slim lead, Edsall, Kill, Fulmer, The field are pretty much even
 


I predict the person will be someone who has a football background!

Somebody else. My hope is that Maturi is going to get hammered on his initial finalists and forced to go all in with Leach
 

My brain is mush and I have no freakin' idea anymore of what to think. I hope for the best but at this point who the hell knows, I just hope a new coach is announced soon.

If I was making a list of who will NOT be the next coach, #1 would be Frank Beamer. We have a better chance of getting Nick Saban with Urban Meyer as OC. How is name ever got mentioned on this board boggles my mind.

Anyway, my 'Someone Else' vote is for Richt.

Ive been saying its Edsall for three weeks and I still believe it is...everything fits. He will be named our new coach on Monday.
 

I think it's going to be Mr. Harbaugh from Stanford. Tubby, move over just a little bit. No reason, just a feeling. Maturi and entire Athletic Dept have been way too quiet. Also the goofy way they will make the announcement. Everything points to me like a major big time surprise!
 

Didn't Maturi once say there was a surprise candidate? That would imply someone very notable -- something these guys being talked about are NOT.
 




Petersen. if we say it enough itll have to be true.

that or we can make whoever comes in to coach who's not petersen to wear a petersen mask at all times.
 


Remember when Brew was hired some were going Tim Who? I was anyway, I hope we aren't asking that same ? with are new hire or were in trouble again.

I don't think this is remotely possible, having said that Mike Max said more than once on his program that there was still a big name out there that may be a real possibility for this job that he couldn't reveal. Take it for what it's worth.
