If it was a spirit thread, I'd pick the Gophers to win. Seeing as it's a prediction thread, I went with what seemed likely to me. And I'm always wrong, ask my wife.
 

Iowa will be favored and that makes sense at this point, but if it doesn't rain, Leidner has a decent day passing, Cobb runs well, and we kick some field goals, the Gophers should win a close one, 34-31. Energy and attitude may make the difference.

They probably will be favored in points, but if you click to the Gopher's page under the ESPN's POWER INDEX link, that simulation measure gives the Gophers a 51% chance of winning that game. That seems about right to me for a home game. Iowa exploded yesterday but they've been more consistently so-so than good this year. Just like we shouldn't have read too much in our Michigan victory, I'm not going to read too much into Iowa's victory yesterday. Unfortunately, that same measure gives Minnesota a less than 20% chance of winning any of the remaining games so they need this one.

I hope we return to being on the plus side of turnovers and win.

Game will be close for 3 quarters, but Iowa's offensive line will take a toll on the our under sized Gopher defensive line. Mitch again misses some key passes on the play action .
