He/she/it declared that a long time ago. He/she/it is a Duke fan randomly on the Gopher board to stir sh*t up for some reason. He/she/it also has a clear and obvious bias against Tubby, and will make up "facts" to support his/her/its argument.

For today, yes. More so my declaration is I think Northwestern "deserves" (whatever the hell that means) the NCAA bid, more so than this year's Gopher squad, so in order to accomplish that they need to beat the Gophers today, so go Cats.

totally dude...you were way too cool for that thread man!

I love Gopherhole, yes I am a Duke fan but as a resident of Minnesota, even though I like to make fun of my Gopher fanatic buddies most of the time, I do have a place in my heart for the Gophs and like to come here and see whatchall are thinking about the squad.

Admit most of you will also root for NW if they beat the Gophs. It is just a good story. I would root for them this year no matter who they play, sorry it just so happens to be Minnesota today. If the Gophs end up winning, I'll be rooting them on for a big run.

Tubby plays the RESPECT card and the team comes out fired up (we should have Tee shirts left over from a few years ago).

Would like NW to make the tournament but not at the expense of a Gopher win.

NW is a little motivated, don't you think? The Gophers are merely a minor road block on the way to the NCAA Tournament.
