I'm feeling good on this one. Unless Iowa makes a couple big plays in the first quarter to tilt the field, they take their first loss under the lights.

Night game, revenge factor, blackout, trophy game, etc.....so many things going in Iowa's favor. They are going to come out amped up and IMO blow the doors off Minnesota. This game hasn't been close in a while (was 2010 the last close one?), and I don't think this one will be either.

Iowa hits the 30's. Gopher's struggle to get to 14. Number 8 scoring D in the country versus the 112th scoring O.
 






Iowa has been held under 27 once, Minnesota has scored more than 27 once. iowa has only allowed 2 teams to score more than 20, while minnesota has only held 2 teams under 20.

so Id say more of an IOWA 31-17 type game just going by the trends of this yr
 



Delusional Hawkeye fans seem to think they're 'Championship' Caliber offense will blow us out by 30. After a couple of emotional weeks against better teams than Iowa- I hope that we still have something in the tank for these jokers. I do not expect a blowout, but think we are due and Iowa's soft schedule will catch up with them. A lot of things could change between now and then- but right now-

Four of the teams they held under 20 were Illinois state, Northwest Texas State, Iowa State, and Maryland. Not really power house teams.

I don't think Iowa is going to put up 30+ points because of their offense. It will be on the other side of the ball. Minnesota has been flat out bad offensively this year, and Iowa's defense has been very good. I simply don't see how Minnesota is going to move the ball on Iowa. Turnovers and short fields lead to points, and I think Iowa is going to be the beneficiary of several of both.
