From my eyes, Purdue's binary playbook of bubble screen or give it to Mostert gave us fits all first half. We adjusted - or they got tired - which stopped the bleeding. I don't think Illinois has the weapons that Purdue does, but they are putting up a respectable 28 points per game.
I think Illinois tries to get offensively sneaky right off the bat, Gophers nab a pick-6. Might be a slow offensive start for the Gophers as Illinois successfully shuts down Cobb first half, but Leidner builds on the passing game.
