This game is at the Barn. Like 95% of the games in the Big Ten this year (most years), the home team will be the benefactor of a few calls that don't go the way of the visitors. That's just the way it is. Try not to whine about it, particularly if the Rodents win.

Win or lose, might as well face that fact going in.

The game at Mackey earlier this year was a frickin' bloody, bruising rugby scrum, largely in favor of the Boilers. I've got no problem with that. That's life on the road in the Big Ten.

Wait a second, what about the 873 Gopher fans that were whining about the last game? We're not afforded the same luxury?

A win tonight will make all this silly banter go away...Gene Keady earlier today on KFAN said that maybe DJ is right (with his comments today/yesterday) .... Keady wouldn't be surprised if the Gophers won tonight....

That's not what DJ said, and of course that's true. Any Big Ten team can win at home on any night.

With the exception of d-bag Eddie Hightower over ruling his partner on an out of bounds call, I thought the game was pretty evenly officiated. Nice to see the Boilers play like garbage without 2 starters most of the game and still come up with a road W.

I almost feel like losing the game and having a healthy Hummell would've been a better outcome. Even by losing tonight, they could win out and still win a share of the Big Ten title.

I guess you missed the make-up double dribbling call two seconds later...

You "almost" feel that way? LOL, I think you want to re-think that statement.

For once the refs didn't decide the outcome of a close Big Ten game. Unfortunately. Seems like we always get jobbed on the road.

The double dribble on Westbrook and charge on Iverson were missed calls, simple as that, and they hurt. Iverson also got fouled comingdown with the rebound in the last minute. Even he wouldn't clank a shot of the backboard from 2 feet. He was pushed off balance. Interestingly these were all by the same ref that got overruled by Eddie H. But in a 40 minute game, what can you do, mistakes will be made. The players decided this game.

I have no idea if he double-dribbled, but that was the right call. What else are you going to do when Dumbass Eddie runs in from 15 feet away to overrule a correct call that you made from 6 inches away? I wish I had a clip of that so I could make fun of that moron some more.

I'm inclined to disagree with this. I think the refs were prepared to give us this game on a silver platter and we simply didn't take advantage of if.

So what did he say? Also, Gene Keady has always been a straight shooter in my mind, and I believe if he thought that the Gophers didn't have a good shot at winning that game, he would have said that as well. Yes we all know that any BT team CAN win at home .......

What about Kraemer shoving Iverson in the back as he was trying to catch a pass 2 trips in a row and not getting called for a single one... then Kraemer drawing a BS charge a trip or two later. Don't forget Hoffarber getting tackled going for an offensive rebound in the last couple minutes. Those were just the blatant ones. Unfortunately, the Gophs didn't get the home cooking the refs gave Purdue in West Lafayette earlier in the year.
