The SEC now is 1-8 vs. the Power 6 after Vanderbilt's overtime loss @ Butler Tuesday night. No head-to-head games on the docket tonight, but things start getting interesting Thursday when the plethora of Thanksgiving-time tournaments kick off with the Puerto Rico Tip-Off, Charleston Classic, and 2K Sports Classic.

We will continue to post this daily Monday-Friday (and when possible on weekends) leading up to our next Road to Selection Sunday column, which will appear sometime shortly after Thanksgiving weekend. At that point we'll take a quick glance at some of the key exempt tournament results, which teams early on have done good work building an at-large resume, and who's been a disappointment. And maybe, for the first time, we'll include some RPI data, even though it's way too early for the numbers to mean anything.

The Power 6 conferences head to head through Tuesday, Nov. 19:

Head to Head
1. Pac 12 (3-1, 75%)
2. Big XII (5-2, 71.4%)
3. Big Ten (4-2, 66.7%)
T-4. ACC (3-3, 50%)
T-4. Big East (3-3, 50%)
6. SEC (1-8, 11.1%)

Tuesday Results
Butler 85, Vanderbilt 77 -- Bulldogs win battle of unbeatens.

Wednesday Matchups
none

Lock City Record (7-5, 58.3%)
Tuesday Result: Arizona -21 (Rhode Island) = W
Wednesday Selection: Iowa State +5.5 (@ BYU) -- counting on Cyclones not having a letdown.
Streak: W-1

Tuesday 2-Teamer Result: Memphis +7 (@ Oklahoma State) with Kansas -17.5 (Iona) = L
Wednesday 2-Teamer Selection: Western Michigan +3.5 (North Dakota State) with Wichita State -5 (@ Tulsa)
Streak: L-1

For the love of interesting statistics, you should probably scrap the SEC and replace them with the AAC, but pretend Memphis doesn't exist, probably.

Thanks SS, appreciate the updates. This is interesting stuff.
