Though the Challenge finished in a draw, gain a split in the remaining two games and the Big Ten will win the season series. It's in the hands of Notre Dame to give the ACC the final advantage. Notre Dame plays Indiana on Dec. 14 at Conseco Fieldhouse, then a week later the Fighting Irish tackle Ohio State in Brooklyn.

The Power 6 conferences head to head through Wednesday, December 4:

5. Pac 12 (10-12, 45.5%)
6. SEC (10-14, 41.7%)

Wow that wisky game looks like it was a thrill a minute.

Wow that wisky game looks like it was a thrill a minute.

I watched the end until a different game came on. It was horrible.

Next season we need to fix the shot clock. These handcheck fouls and charging calls have been good fixes. Lowering the shot clock would go a long way to ending Becky Ball.

I also wouldn't complain if the three-point line moved back to the international three.

more like a thrill every two hours (ie paint drying)

I thought I saw a stat displayed at one point in the second half that said that Wisconsin was shooting 28% from the field to Virginia's 25%. I only watched the second half, but Virginia missed a whole bunch of point blank looks.

And looking back at the ESPN box score, it shows Wisconsin out-shot Virginia from the field 28.8% to 23.4%, and 21.7% to 9.1% from three. Yuck.

And I thought discussing hemorrhoidal surgeries at med school was disgusting, this game superseded that by a long ways.
