Missouri 68, NC State 64 (nice bounce-back win for Tigers)
Syracuse 78, Villanova 62 (playing Orangemen a gift that keeps on giving for Gophers)

Xavier 68, Wake Forest 53 (And Jeff Bzdelik's seat is the hottest of 'em all)

Sunday Results
none

Iowa 2-2 (vs. Xavier)
Michigan 2-3 (vs. Florida State)

Indiana 1-2 (vs. Washington)
Minnesota 1-2 (Florida State)

Streak: W-1

Looking at Nebraska's early B1G schedule, (first 6 games), Miles has his work cut out. Iowa on the road, home and away with OSU. Toss in a game at Purdue. Penn State will, more than likely, be so anxious to face them by the time the sixth game arrives. Maybe a 1-5 or 0-6 after 6 games. Best bet for a W might be the Michigan game.

How long do the Badgers and Buckeyes stay unbeaten? Looks like Wisconsin might be able to hold on a little longer than OSU. They don't see each other till Feb. 1, in Madison, for their only meeting in regular season.

Badgers certainly have a favorable conference schedule. Play Michigan State and Ohio State once, and both games are @ the Kohl Center.

Bzdelik has struggled ever since he bolted the Air Force Acadamy.

I don't think Bzdelik's seat could get any hotter than it already was after last season. You've had a large newspaper ad in the local paper trying to start a campaign to get you fired, it doesn't get worse than that.

I wonder how Dino Gaudio looks to WF now?

Well, they were looking pretty good when they fired him. I never understood that decision.

Word on the street was his firing was not a basketball decision if I recall correctly. Something internal to the program, I think.
