Is it possible, just possible, that some highly rated recruits can look at the cooperation between the University of Minnesota and the Dome Debacle/Minnesota Vikings will possible think..."Man oh Man, maybe, just maybe, I want to be a part of that cooperation, therefore I am coming to the U of M because I wanna be a part of that?" Think about that.

I don't know if kids are looking at institutional cooperation as a selling point. Seeing TCF on MNF can't hurt though! First rate facility!

Monday night game is great for the program. Announcers will probaby say "This is one of the best stadiums I've ever been in".. Can't hurt us
No they probably won't. While it is a top tier college stadium, it probably doesn't compare with at least the top 10-12 NFL stadiums.
The U will get great pictures of the stadium and that will be a help, but will it be offset by the constant reminders of how cold it is? That will remain to be seen.
As someone mentioned earlier the real winner in this situation is TCF Bank. Hopefully the University was smart enough to have some sort of kicker in the contract in regards to additional fees if the Vikings ever used the stadium.
It may not be one of the best NFL venues but, it is one of the best college venues!! And it will only be better as this team turns over a new leaf and goes for the jugular and kills the opponents when it comes to recruiting!!!!!

You may have just been joking, but you still kicked me in the nuts. That is the beauty of the blog comments. THAT is no joke. A kick in the nuts is not funny...unless you have always been the kicker and not the kickee.
Are you talking about the physical construction of the stadium alone or the enviroment in and around the stadium. The stadium itself is great but the overall atmosphere is not a top 25 atmosphere IMO. I personally think the atmosphere has more of an impact on recruiting than the craftsmanship of the stadium unless the player happens to be a architecture student. A crazy fanbase that packs the stadium and parking lots are likely to have more of an impact on a recruit than a 3/4 full subdued stadium with a large lockerroom.
