How would people rank the positions going forward after this year. Looking at talent, depths, and other factors. Here is a start. After listing them out, I don't see a huge gap from top to bottom.

1. TE's- Maxx leads the way and group doesn't lose anyone.
2. P- Excellent season with two more to go.
3. DB's- Lots of experience. Could be lights out if front 7 improve.
4. OL- Good straight forward but need to improve pass blocking and lateral movement.
5. DL- A lot played in the rotation this year and that is huge going forward.
6. LB- Return the man in the middle, but others unknown.
7. QB- More bad than good right now. Summer is huge for this position.
8. RB- To much unknown outside Cobb
9. WR- Young
10. K- Will have 1st year kicker

1. Wozniak is intriguing with his height.
2. Agree.
3. Vereen is a big loss but we should be OK
4. OL will be fine and the strength on O. Bobek and Christian should be interesting at C. Guessing at least one of the redshirt FR gets a lot of playing time.
5. Rotation helps moving forward but losing Hageman and Johnson could hurt.
6. I think we'll be better than what some people think. Look for Campell to have a breakout year.
7. Agree. QB play and their improvement is key to whether we take a step toward getting better next season.
8. Edwards and/or an incoming FR will add quality depth.
9. Next to QB play, this needs to improve significantly if the team is to get better. Who steps up?
10. Guessing we'll be OK with some depth and competition at K.

Go Gophers!

1. RBs, 2 seniors who have each ran for at least 900 in a single season, another upperclassmen with 600 career yards, a stud freshman who is projected to start over all 3 of them despite his youth and a redshirt freshman who Kill has raved about
2. DBs, they have been #1 the past 2 years and a very good unit, Vereen is a replaceable loss if you ask me and we lose less then we did last year with Carter and Stoudenmire and we didn't miss a beat there, hoping for Myrick to have a breakout season.
3. O-line, everybody except Ed Olson returns and we will finally have a veteran group, should be one of the best on the conference
4.TE, Maxx will be all conference and everybody else returns, hoping to see Wozniak become a huge weapon in the red zone
5. D-line, lose Rashede but we still have Theiren, everybody else comes back, would be nice to see Ekpe have a breakout season
6. LBs, Damien Wilson could be all conference, Devondre will have a similar season to what Rashede did Jr year with his incredible potential, would like to see Rallis become the other guy
7. WR, we were young this year and this should be maybe the most improved unit with Donovahn and Wolitarsky getting another year of experience under their belt
8. QB, should be a competitive spring with no one having a definite job, we should be better with our sophomore QB becoming a Jr and our RS freshman QB becoming a RS sophomore
i didn't include kicker/punter since i don't feel comfortable ranking them with the other positions but i think we will be fine with kicking, we have a second year under armour all american

every single unit should be better next year except for maybe the LBs and maybe D-line, no unit should be worse then last year which is why i would be disappointed with less then 9 wins after we won 8 games this year

Quarterbacks better than running backs?
