The Gophers' victory over Purdue was so impressive that it caused them to jump from #27 to #16 in the Pomeroy ratings. Pretty astounding.

Word of warning - I remember using Pomeroy last year to help me pick my bracket. It was a disaster. Probably the worst result I'd ever had. Every year is different but Pomeroy didn't do a very good job of predicting who would win, especially the early round games.
