Poll: Will Trevor come back for a 6th year?

From following him on Twitter and watching the games, Trevor really seems to love this team and knows how special they could be next year. Maybe Lockett sees this too.

Not to mention he is going on recruting trips with Tubby (Wasn't he at the Eastview - AV Game?)

I think everyone is missing the most important reason why he will come back- his health.

He is coming off a serious injury and may or may not be ready for the start of next year. It is absolutely in his best interests to rehab with world class care at UM and then prove himself healthy in the Big Ten season. No European team is going to gamble on a guy who has missed a full year injured- too much risk for them. An NBA team might but I don't think Trevor is a high enough prospect for a team to sink alot of money and time into.

Present situation is win/win for Gophers and for Trevor.

The poll should probably add Europe to the list. NBA isn't his only option.

I was thinking the same thing. Isn't the NBA draft in June? I have a hard time thinking NBA teams will take a flyer on him so early into his rehab.

I'm thinking like this also. I tell you though, it seems I'm conditioned for lousy news. Like I just can't accept somehow good fortune will smile upon the team.

DeJuan Blair slipped into the 2nd round because of knee issues. If Mbakwe enters the draft, I don't think he gets picked before the late second. I think if he goes pro, he ends up in Europe.

If he went late second, which would worth picking him up at no rick and seeing how he springs back in the D-League. Get's called up to the NBA or cut if he has setbacks.

9194Gophs: may want to revise your sig line...

I'm voting for a return from our rim-rocking friend. Looking forward to an exciting 2012-2013!

Go Gophers!

His sig-line is mocking the statements of GW

Another option is that he does not enter the NBA draft, but takes a Euro contract sometime before the season starts. The NBA draft is a long shot because of the injury. He needs to prove he can play and he won't be able to do that before the draft.

He will be back. He made kind of sort of references about hoping for another year in the last few months.

I agree. Trevor's name has disapeared from the NBA mock drafts that I have read, since his injury.

I think his best chance of making big money is to come back and prove he can play like he did before he got hurt.

That's the key, sure he can make good money over 10 years in Europe like Dan Coleman. If you can get drafted in the first round, especially the upper half, and aren't an complete idiot with money you are set for life.

He has been on the 2013 draft. They've been assuming he'd get that 6th year.
