Point U

I love the whole “point u” announcing tradition at Gopher home volleyball games. It is interesting how it can pay dividends in interesting ways. The Big Ten Network announcer in the current match against Michigan has subconsciously been referring to the Gophers as “the U” all night. At the end of the second set he went as far as to say “point U, set U.” Build it, and they will come.

this place has long been “the U” and the fact nationally people don’t get that is a shame. Screw Miami.
