So Devoe will be out "long-term" and will hopefully be back by Big Ten play. Where does that leave us at pg? Do we rely on Chip, Mav, or Blake to be the back-up?

I for one would like to see Al playing 35 min a game against Wofford and in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off and about 30 min in the other games. For the other 5-10 min I would like to see Mav bringing the ball up the court. I don't think he is as bad as many of you make him out to be; I think many of you hear that he isn't very good and just look for the flaws in his game and focus too much on them. I think he looked comfortable bringing the ball up court and looked alright for a freshman yet to play a minute of true college basketball. I also want him to get his experience now in case Devoe's suspension lasts into Big Ten play. I don't really like Blake bringing the ball up as he doesn't quite have the ball handling for it and makes a far more effective shooting guard. I also think Chip is more of a sg than a pg but I haven't really seen him play point. Just my thoughts, what say you?

Judging by the Winona game Blake is the back up point guard. Obviously that is not ideal for him, but he did play it decently in the overtime game against Wisconsin two years ago.

How much zone will we play tonight? Al can't get into foul trouble and Cameron Rundles and Diggs like to force the issue.
