It's tempting to look at the Gophers and say: Where will be get better guard play (for example)?

I just took a look at the history on Eric Maynor the terrific guard for VCU.

As a frosh he averaged about 5pts
As a Soph 13
As a JR 18
This year 22

It may be that Devoe Joseph has this development or at the center position Ralph Sampson.
The guys are going to get better.

Agree. It does take some time.

However, as we know, expectations wait for no one.

I am most interested in Johnson. He seems to have taken huge leaps every year. He went from looking like a wasted scholarship to ok to Gopher's best player. If he contiues that progression he should be all- Big Ten next year.
