Hawaii is only cool because you're in Hawaii. Actual venue isn't that great. We saw Hawaii vs. Fresno St on our honeymoon.

Aloha stadium is old and really not well designed. Best part of a Hawaii game is the "Haka" before the game!

MN:
Wisconsin ('92, '96, '98, '00, '02, '04, '14)
Iowa ('99, '01, '03, '07, '15, '19)
Northwestern ('99, '01). Also NW vs. Iowa '12
Illinois ('01)
Purdue ('00)
Indiana ('00)
Michigan ('01)
Michigan State ('02)
Ohio State ('00, '02)
Penn State ('03)
Nebraska ('12)
Maryland ('16)
Toledo ('01)
USC ('11)
UNLV ('12)

El Paso ('99)
Nashville ('02, '04)
Miami/Wherever Hard Rock Stadium is located ('00)
Tempe ('09)
Orlando ('14)
San Diego ('16)

Other Games:
Rose Bowl ('08) -- Still the greatest
Air Force ('94, '95, '96, '97)
Insight Bowl '05 (Arizona State vs. Rutgers)
Tennessee vs LSU ('17) -- Actually was underwhelmed by TN; was in the middle of the Butch Jones departure, but I expected more from the experience.

Want to see: Army-Navy, LSU at night, Notre Dame, FL-GA Cocktail Party, OU-TX Red River

Speaking of wembly.

I saw a Atletico Madrid game at Wanda Metrapolitano a few years back.
1/1 me would recommend seeing a big time futbol game to any sports fan...even if you don’t like soccer

They started doing the Haka in '06, and were there in '05. So missed it by a year! The highlight was watching June Jones & Colt Brennan and their run & shoot offense, which kind of blew my Big Ten mind.

You're speaking my language. Have seen games at:

White Hart Lane (old)
Stamford Bridge
Upton Park (now defunct)
Craven Cottage
Westfalenstadion
Veltins Arena
Volkswagen Arena
AmsterdamArena

The atmosphere of European footie really blows anything we have stateside out of the water. Would highly recommend, even if you don't like soccer.

Went to Nebraska to watch the gophers get walloped. Friendliest fans in the world. Minnesota Nice is a myth - Nebraska has the nicest friendliest people around. Also went to South Bend to watch the Irish take on rival USC. Great place to watch 2 traditional powerhouses. On my list of places to go and watch the gophers - Iowa and Wisconsin. Waiting for PJ to consistently field good teams that have a chance to compete with the 2 rivals I hate the most.

My biggest issue is summer is the season I can travel. So it’s really hard for me to catch those games because they’re usually on break when I can travel

Nebraska and Penn state have been super enjoyable and why I keep going back

Wisconsin (twice, including the win two years ago)
Northwestern (twice, both wins)
Nebraska (twice, both losses)
Colorado State (win)
UNLV (win)
Sun Bowl (win)
Texas Bowl, Houston (loss)
Outback Bowl (win)

also went to an Arkansas/LSU game at Death Valley.

Iowa fans are surprisingly cordial & hospitable (been there thrice), which makes Iowa a lot of fun even in defeat. WI fans are just plain nasty and hostile (also been there thrice). Like Iowa are the fun drunks, and WI are the mean drunks.

Went to a game at Auburn in 2010, the year they won it all, and Cam won the Heisman. Ted Roof was their DC.

Would highly recommend seeing a game there. Unbelievable atmosphere as you'd expect: hardcore fans in their motorhomes start showing up on Thursday evening.

My son got to high-five Cam during the pre-game Tiger Walk which was pretty cool.

Wisconsin ('14)
Iowa ('15, '19)
Penn State ('16)
Michigan ('17)
Ohio State ('18)
Purdue ('19)

My current plan is to go to all the major non conferences games that we schedule in odd years --- currently BYU, Colorado, North Carolina, Mississippi State and Cal --- and then work through the rest of the Big Ten in the even years. I plan on going to both Colorado and Indiana next year and then going to Illinois in some odd year as well. I don't have any goals to visit stadiums the Gophers are not playing in, other than Michie Stadium at West Point (and I doubt we ever schedule an away game there).

SEEN
Minnesota (TCF/Dome)
Citrus Bowl
Hawaii
Illinois
Indiana
Iowa
Iowa State
Michigan
Music City Bowl
Nebraska
Northwestern
Ohio State
Outback Bowl
Purdue
UNLV
Virginia Tech

WANT TO SEE
Army
LSU
Notre Dame
Penn State
ROSE BOWL

Have seen:

Memorial Stadium, Mpls
HHH Metrodome, Mpls
TCF Bank Stadium, Mpls
Spartan Stadium, E Lansing, MI
Notre Dame Stadium, S Bend, IN
Ryan Field, Evanston, IL
Camp Randall, Madison, WI
Kinnick Stadium, Ia City, IA
Boyd Stadium, Las Vegas, NV
Sun Bowl, El Paso, TX
Rose Bowl, Pasadena, CA
LA Coliseum, LA, CA

Been to Gopher games at:
Minnesota
Iowa
Wisconsin
Nebraska
Michigan
Maryland
Ohio State

Agree on Iowa. Granted it's been several years since I've been there, but Hawkeye fans in IC are a very different cut than the knuckleheads that come up here. The alcohol-fueled stupidity of Camp Randall gets less and less amusing as the years go by. Nebraska has quickly become my favorite road game destination

Been to non-Gopher games:
Washington
Iowa State
Texas
Missouri
Vanderbilt
Tennessee
Arkansas
Lucas Oil, Indianapolis

Washington is the prettiest setting in college football. Both Vandy and Neyland are dumps.

Sneak into empty stadiums/other events:
Colorado
Northwestern
California
Rose Bowl
LA Coliseum
Utah
Oregon
Oregon State
Michigan State

The Haka is cool because it is so entwined with the Hawaiian Heritage. Even those of us who lived there for years can only really become Kama'aina after thoroughly understanding the Island ways.

We stole their land, you know.

Gopher games (several multiples at certain away venues):
Minnesota - Memorial Stadium
Minnesota - Metrodome
Minnesota - TCF Bank Stadium
Illinois
Indiana
Iowa
Michigan
Michigan State
Ohio State
Nebraska
Northwestern
Penn State
Rutgers
Purdue
Wisconsin
(Missing only Maryland for B1G venues, therefore; was going this year, but COVID prevented it).

Toledo
Colorado State
(I might be leaving some non-conference roadies out?)

Sun Bowl
Miami Dolphins Stadium
Tennessee Titans Stadium
Sun Devil Stadium

Non-Gopher games/venues:
Rose Bowl, Pasadena, CA - UCLA/Stanford
Tiger Stadium, Baton Rouge, LA - LSU/Florida (night game)
Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, PA - Army/Navy,
Vaught-Hemingway Stadium (and The Grove!), Oxford, MS - Ole Miss/Georgia
Everbank Field, Jacksonville, FL - Georgia/Florida
Husky Stadium (and sailgating!), Seattle, WA - Washington/Oregon
Texas Memorial Stadium, Austin, TX - Texas/Baylor
Memorial Stadium, Clemson, SC - Clemson/Georgia Tech
Memorial Stadium, Berkeley, CA - Cal/Stanford (aka The Big Game)
Michie Stadium, West Point, NY - Army/Temple
Kyle Field, College Station, TX - Texas A&M/Clemson
Sanford Stadium, Athens, GA - Georgia/Notre Dame

I may be forgetting some, too.

A lot of small (non FBS, MIAC, D-2, -3, etc.) colleges, too many to list.

(Some) on my "yet to see" list:
Autzen Stadium, Eugene, OR
Reser Stadium, Corvallis, OR
Notre Dame Stadium, South Bend, IN
The Swamp, Gainesville, FL
Doak Campbell Stadium, Tallahassee, FL
Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, Norman, OK (scheduled for 2021!)
The Coliseum, Los Angeles, CA
Bryant-Denny Stadium, Tuscaloosa, AL
Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, Annapolis, MD
More, but I'll stop there.

Lastly, and as important as anything . . . . I believe my list gives me some credibility and license to opine . . .

TCF Bank Stadium, is an awesome, awesome, venue by any comparison. When there is a big game, and our fans are "into it" (#gopherspsu2019) - that's as good a college atmosphere as any I've had the great pleasure, and extreme fortune, to have witnessed personally.

Go Gophers!!!

I have only been on hockey road trips. Would love to do a football game sometime though.

Colorado next year... and @Clemson
Clemson is unique. Was there a few years ago when they won the national championship. Super relaxed and fun environment. I'm not used to football in the south though, they actual had a prayer before kickoff. It was odd seeing 80k praying right before kickoff.

Wow, a lot of you guys have seen a lot. Good for you. I've only had a few.

UCLA beat I think Air Force in the Rose Bowl (not in the bowl game obviously, but at the stadium)
Northwestern beat MarQueis Gray at TCF
Cal beat Arizona in Tucson
Michigan beat Indiana at the Shit House.

Want to go to Notre Dame, Ohio State. Hear the Mississippi schools are a blast. All of the military academies.

Memorial Stadium 1975 through 1981 - 1 game per year

Horrible Metrodome- was there the day Joe Salem free fall started, 1982, blown lead, Illinois 42- MN 24, went downhill from there, I did not return until 1998 , was there the week before Illinois 1982, MN crushed Wash. St., hated the place from first visit, Salem won very few games after that night, U of M friend had tickets to Holtz era Oklahoma game, forgot them back at dorm, so we just gave up and walked over to Grandma's/ Sgt. Preston's/Bullwinkle's.

Wisconsin, 1998, 2004 -
Nashville MCB 2002, 2004, 2005
Iowa 2003, 2005, 2013? 2019
Penn State 2004
Sun Bowl 2003,
Michigan 2004
Michigan St. 2004
Tulsa 2005
Cal 2006
Kent State 2006
Cleveland Browns Stadium Wisconsin vs BGSU 2006 fun night in Cleveland, Gophers should have talked Kent State into a Big Ten/ MAC double header there, not Thursday at Kent St
2006 Insight Bowl 38-7 lost lead
2007 Indiana-
2010 Middle Tenn St
2011 USC LA Coliseum
2012 UNLV
2014 Illinois
2015 Citrus Bowl - Missouri
2018 Nebraska
2019 Northwestern
Jan 1 2020- passed on last minute AM flight, PM return from Tampa- big mistake
Tried hard to get to Houston, San Diego, and fell short, regretted Holiday Bowl miss

Will attend any P5 road NC games in the future
Will try for Maryland and Rutgers first, then Purdue, and lastly Ohio State

I've watched games at most of the Big sites except MD/ Rutgers. Also, been to Music City, Citrus and Outback Bowls . Plus, the National Championship game - AL killed ND and I went civil war on one of the roll tide fans. Been to see Touchdown Jesus almost every year . Watched our Gophers in Memorial with my Dad and have had season tickets since the Metrodome. Followed my brothers / nephews who played @ SDSU and Gustavus. Want to go to the Rose Bowl.
