Extremely dumb. ND did not decline because of all the fun around the bowl games, and trying to put blame on the marketing/sponsorships is ridiculous. Bowls are dying, these things are just about the only thing keeping them alive. It's fun, the tradition of bowl games is gone no matter what.

And the facebook comment no longer exists. Probably didn't want to be associated with this article

But you can't overlook anything written by...check notes...Charles Passy...after all, he does have over 6,000 followers on twitter, and it only took him to follow 3,000+ other people to get to that number

Maybe if the Pop Tarts Bowl chipped off a little something for Flavor Flav to make the effort to attend their Bowl, the Irish would have accepted the bid to Orlando.
