At this point the salient quote from that blog post is,

"Well, Just minutes ago I received a message stating "Pitt to Big Ten Announcement this Friday". I trust this source and believe in his contacts."

Well Friday has come and gone and I can't find anything about this Big Ten announcement from any news source or the Big Ten itself.

Obviously I have no idea if this blogger is a good source of anything. Like here at GH there are a few good sources of info amongst a swarm of bloviating, lying, fabricators of rumour and trollish gibberish.

As to the matter of PITT, I have no problem with them joining the conference though I would prefer ND. I like the idea of splitting into East and West divisions. Twelve teams makes a little more sense to me than eleven.

Just IMHO.

Pitt is a good fit all around. I think they are the best choice if the Big Ten is going to expand. Pitt is similar in makeup to 10 of the conference schools. ND is similar in makeup to 1 of the schools.

This would make Big Ten football and Big Ten basketball better conferences, so you have to love it. And now we get a title game in football!!!
