Go Gophers!!

How about they just become better basketball players? Take Morris - shouldn't the guy learn to make a jump shot or how to pass the ball before trying to add a few pounds?

I imagine that may come off as a tad bit insensitive to tweet that out.

WTF? Can't you do all at once? It's not like they are only consuming protein shakes and weight lifting. Odd complaint. I want all of our players, and particularly the seniors like Morris, to be doing everything they can to improve. Not just focusing on one aspect of their game.

And what the hell why didn't he talk about Joey King working on his rebounding!?!?!?

Pitino is so over his head...

I am almost sure the memo looked like this:

To: Carlos, Charles, Bakary
Re: Eating habits

Guys,

Please eat like crazy this summer and lift weights. Don't worry about basketball skills.

See you this fall.

Posts like these are exactly why I rarely post here anymore. I am going to call the coaches right now and tell them about your genius plan!

The problem with Morris and Buggs is, IMO their ceiling is below average B1G wings. The 222 minutes I watched Konate, I have a good feeling about, but don't believe he will be an average B1G player next season. Hopefully his junior year.

You should qualify this with average starting BIG player. Just saying.

Morris athletically and in terms of handle and shooting definitely has a ceiling well above average for a Big Ten wing. If you are talking ceiling- "ceiling" means as good as he can get. If he learns to work within the offensive and defensive scheme his ceiling is real high. Buggs- that's tougher to figure out as he is a very unusual player, tons of athleticism and even shooting skills that are good, but he has a very weak basketball sense.
