Is he a Hawkeye lean?
Is he a Hawkeye lean?
I cared more about this kind of thing when Brewster was around for some reason. Probably because I know Jerry Kill doesn't give a sh*t about kids who don't want to come here so why would I.
Furthermore, too bad that perhaps a couple Iowa people down there are trying to mess up his mind for the long haul of loyalty and fun here in Minnesota.
I find myself not being as concerned about recruiting this year. I am wondering if it was because that was what Brewster was hired for and i felt if we didn't get a 4 star there was no way he could coach a 2 star to be a 4 star athlete. Kill on the other hand has shown that he can coach first and foremost and that has me trusting him. I also don't see him in the mold of Mason - who could also coach - but did not demand excellence from himself when it came to the recruiting trail. Kill strikes me as one who expects excellence in all areas of sports and life.

With all the hype around here and the number of big-time offers this kid has, I'm frankly shocked that he wasn't listed on Lemming's 100 top prospects list that just came out.
Kid's got offers from Auburn, OSU and Michigan, someone somewhere is impressed with his prospects. To be ranked that high, one would think that Pirsig would have needed to play against a higher level of high-school competition than he has.
