Coach Kill and Limegrover spent the evening entertaining Pirsig and what I assume was his father at the Gopher/Spartan game tonight. Seantrel and his crew spent many an evening getting front row seats from Brew so it's obviously not an indicator of anything, but I'm glad Pirsig had Kill in his ear at least for a night and not the Sweater Vest.

Go Gophers!!

That's too bad. Not a good night to showcase Gopher athletics.

Go Gophers!

Too bad the basketball team stunk it up tonight. I'm glad we have Kill at the coaching helm to give me something to look forward with the BB team heading to the NIT.

Perhaps the 6'9" Pirsig should suit up for Tubby next year.....

While the result wasn't what we wanted and yeah the basketball team might be off the bubble, the atmosphere was electric Tuesday night.

After Chip hit that 3 to go up by 7(8?) with about 3 minutes to go, the place was in full riot mode.

I couldn't see Pirsig or Kill from where I was sitting, so I don't know how they were reacting. I agree it's a shame Jonah couldn't see a win, but he came to a good game and the barn in rare form. So I don't think it was a total loss in terms of his recruitment.

Yep. In all fairness, I would rather have him at that game then a 20 point blowout. And do people really think the success of the bball team will affect his decision?

Nope. Like all footbal and basketball players it all comes down to how highly ranked the school is on US News.
