per Marcus:

But despite the loss, Kill reminded his players that they still control their destiny to play for the Big Ten championship.

Wisconsin is the only other team in the Big Ten West Division that can say that.

Winning at Nebraska (8-2, 4-2) on Saturday and at Wisconsin the next week would clinch a division title for the Gophers (7-3, 4-2) and likely give them a rematch with Ohio State.

"Everything there is to accomplish is right there in front of them," Kill said Sunday.

Go Gophers!!

Question: if the Gophers lose to Nebraska and Wisconsin, will that change your opinion of the team? What if they lose by 20 or more points to each team? Bottom line, it's difficult to figure out how good this team is. They looked good against Northwestern, so-so against Purdue and Illinois, fantastic against Iowa, very good against Ohio State. Either way, it's been a really fun season, just like last season, and I'm really proud of these players. I mostly want them to beat Neb and Wisky so that they get the recognition that they deserve. It seems like they've worked very hard to make the fans proud.
