"He's a good guy; that was my main guy when I was there," Boynton said. "He was a guy who I could relate to and all the guys could relate to because he was so young. I'm happy for him that he got the job at Minnesota. I think he's going to do a great job. He definitely learned from great coaches like Billy Donovan and his dad (Louisville coach Rick Pitino)."

"He was calm, and pretty chill," Boynton said. "He did player development with the guards. That was his main thing. He didn't talk a lot (to the team) in his first year, but that was something that came. I'm pretty sure at (Florida International), he developed a head-coaching presence. And he's definitely going to develop guards there."
