per Marcus:

Leidner is confident the offense can handle the atmosphere at Memorial Stadium. The Gophers have worked on different cadences at the line of scrimmage to deal with the crowd noise, but Leidner said he likes the "loud factor."

"Filters out anything," Leidner said. "You're not really focusing on anything because it's so loud. You just get to go out there and play."

Go Gophers!!

Well, that puts me at ease.

This is what JK wanted -- expected -- when he gave the reigns to ML7 in January.

Uhhhg... so much for that. I hope McKenzie can step up next year and compete with Mitch, or we bring in another QB to the 15 class.

McKinzy had the benefit of spring practice and still couldn't beat out Perra, so don't get your hopes up.

"Bounce back" you mean bounce pass.. or grossly over thrown. or grossly thrown behind.

Need to talk to Braxton Miller...

Yes because where he is listed on the depth chart during his redshirt season means anything at all.

I think we can all agree that pass he made to Maye on the final drive was big time. That was a perfect throw in a big movement with no room for error.

I am not a Leidner supporter but he deserves all the credit today for that throw and how he played overall. Big time in a big game.

Or maybe they were more willing to burn Perra's RS than DRM's?

Leidner isn't without his faults that's for sure but he made the big throw when in mattered. In the 4th quarter. With the game in the balance.

Agreed, although I've become more-or-less a Leidner supporter over the course of the season. I doubt he will ever become a very efficient Big Ten passing quarterback, but he's grown a lot this year and he has two years left for improvement. He led the team pretty well today and the way he took over after Cobb's injury was impressive. In a game featuring both Cob and Abdullah, Leidner was the leading rusher.

Well stated. Give him huge credit for putting the team on his back after Cobb went out.

Need directions to Columbus? I think we could find enough people to chip in for a one-way trip there for those of you who have trashed ML7. He hasn't made every play perfectly this season. He has led us to a pretty darn good season.
