per Marcus:

The Gophers aren't moving away from the option offense, but they're trying to figure out other ways to keep their quarterbacks healthy.

"I think that comes with the territory when you run the kind of offense we run," Gophers offensive coordinator Matt Limegrover said. "There are some things we can do to take some of those reads off. Actually, once (Leidner) got going, we started to make sure there were some plays that there wasn't an option for him to pull the football."

Go Gophers!!

Was it risky for Eric Crouch? Tommy Frazier? Taylor Martinez? RGIII? Vince Young? Cam Newton? Harnish? Lynch?

I watched the beginning of tonight's Clemson/NC St. game. Clemson QB Tajh Boyd got hit 4 times in the first minute of the game!

Saw very little of the rest of the game, but 2 QB draws to start the game, then getting hit a few time while in the pocket, and there was still 14 minutes remaining in the 1st quarter.

Wow, that's a lot of hits.... can't see a QB staying healthy while getting hit that often, whether at Clemson or at the U.
