per PiPress:
Jerry Kill feels "in the best shape of his life" and has been working with an epilepsy specialist, the University of Minnesota football coach said Wednesday at Big Ten Media Day in Chicago.
Kill, who is a cancer survivor, has never missed an entire game because of his seizure disorder. Last season, he missed the second half of the Gophers' 26-10 loss Nov. 24 against Michigan State after suffering a seizure during halftime.
"I'm doing great," Kill said at his Wednesday news conference when asked about his health. "I appreciate you asking. Things are going great for me. I've got a great doctor that's a specialist in epilepsy. I've been doing great, looking forward to the season.
"I may not look it, but I feel like I'm in the best shape of my life."
