A week away from his first spring practice as Minnesota’s head football coach, Tracy Claeys said he has been impressed by former East Ridge quarterback Seth Green.

Green, who played his senior season in suburban Dallas, enrolled in January and has participated in winter workouts. He committed to Minnesota after initially declaring for Oregon.

“For his athleticism and that, he’s really stuck out,” Claeys said. “I didn’t realize he just turned 18 here a week or so ago. He’s a good-looking kid.”

Coach Claeys is still learning how to be a media guy, but I think he catches on quick.
Work in progress... but I don't doubt his football mind, nope. He has a plan.
