Elmore had the biggest impact of the true freshmen in the 30-14 Big Ten-opening win at Michigan on Sept. 27. He had a tackle for loss and forced a fumble.
"My phone was blowing up after the game, just friends and family watching the game," Elmore said. "It was nationally televised, so that was huge, too. It's Big Ten football. You expect to play in situations like that every week.
"We played at the Big House. We play Ohio State and we go to Wisconsin this year. Week in and week out, you just have to be prepared. It's definitely a surreal experience, but I've just got to move on and get better."
