Heart-breaking. It ain't easy being Joel. How dare people criticize him for the PR-disaster that was the football coaching search, taking years to do contract extensions other AD's do in days and getting sued for millions over various bungled hiring situations. Poor Joel indeed.
 

LOL. Shed a tear for a guy who's seen ZERO NCAA tournament wins and ZERO finishes in the top 3 of the conference in either football or basketball during his tenure? I wonder how many BCS schools would still be employing Mr. Maturi with that record even ignoring his multiple gaffes with hiring/firing revenue sport coaches.
 


how much longer must we criticize him before this can happen? give us a timeline and a goal.
 


I thought it was a candid interview. Joel gave very honest answers, as he always does.

There is NOT a goddamned one of us who would want to be in his shoes, given the biased opinions of and from people who do not have a clue. But we sit on the sidelines, chastise and condemn, and don't know a frikking thing about the total picture. You condemners ought to be ashamed of yourselves. Put that in your pipe, and smoke it. :banghead:
