Fair assessment. But I will say that I have always personally thought Miami's fan base has been 95% front runners.....going all the way back to the start of their run in the Schellenberger (sp?) era through the end of it in the early to mid 2000's. Never been a true to Miami Hurricanes fan base, imo. More of an "only go if it's an event and I can be seen" type of fan base.

They must have had an orange seat disguise contest.

Never should have left the Orange Bowl.

that's what happens when they tear down your home field and say they have a pro stadium you can play in. On another note, I was taken back with the Syracuse University naming the field inside the Carrier Dome, Ernie Davis Field. Not that he doesn't deserve the honor. He was the Heisman Trophy Winner and was on Syracuse last National Championship Team But his exploits were outside in Archbold Stadium. That's where Jim Brown played as well.

There is no Miami Dolphin, Marlin base as well. The Heat had a late arriving crowd. And you can bet they won't attend at all now.

Fair assessments. Always thought Miami fans were perhaps some of the worst. Front-runners only...all sports.

FYI, from box score--ATTENDANCE: 43,953

What a preposterous lie no matter how it was counted.

Given the crap that has gone on there, not sad at all.

CBS: Miami fans fly 'Fire Al Golden' banner over Sun Life Stadium

A banner was flown over Sun Life Stadium Saturday during the first half of the Miami-Cincinnati game. It read, "Fire Al Golden, Save The U" and was apparently purchased by members of the West End Zone, an online forum with its own section for Miami football.
