I hope Tracy Claeys receives a 5 year contract

So under the circumstances, I would say we had a decent crowd today at TCF given the fact that our previous AD did everything he could to alienate the season ticket holder constituency. Weather in Piscataway, NJ not fun tonight, but I think it was much colder and windier at TCF Bank today. I am so happy we won, and won convincingly against NU. NU under Pat Fitzgerald always scares the hell out of me. I am so happy that we are now 5-3 Big Ten and no matter what happens next Saturday, we are assured of winning season in the Big Ten. I am also delighted for Tracy Claeys, who draws a lot of hate mail comments in the StarTribune. I am still convinced that these a$$holes (somebody called them mopes) are Ziggy Wilf's hired guns Their only purpose in life is to write negative peanut gallery comments about University of Minnesota Golden Gopher football, with the primary objective of convincing the general public that if they are going to spend part of their disposable income on watching a live football game, that they spend it on an NFL game. I hope Tracy Claeys is rewarded with a 5 year contract. I don't want another coach. I hope Tracy's tenure is every bit as successful as Dr. Henry L. Williams, and that his longevity as a Golden Gopher football head coach exceeds that of Dr. Henry L. Williams.
 

Yeah, but every TV in NYC was tuned to BTN, so that's all that is all that matters.
 




They were on their way to an attendance record too. Sold over 50,000 tickets. Friday they were talking about selling standing room only seats. Nearly all to Penn State fans.
 

Maybe the BIG should allow them to play Princeton every year. A good chance at a win and it'll help fill the stands better than this.....
 

Final Attendance: 51,366. About 1,366 left at the end of the game?
