Picture of Alabama's new weight room

I'll bet that was more than half the State's GDP. That's a lot of double-wides!

The Alabama weight room is huge: 34,000 sq ft. Some Big Ten weight rooms: Indiana 25k sq ft, Nebraska 18.7K, Wisc 17K (in the process of finishing a new one), Mich state 16.5k, Purdue 14k, Penn State 13k, Minn 11k, Iowa 10k

Always a contest between every college to see who can build bigger and badder than the next to "wow" recruits....

Having said that.... I'm in awe.

I thought it was a survivalist's bunker.

I think I can see the deer antler spray room.

Didn't they build a new weight room when Saban got there?

Probably but that would have been a few yeras old meaning it was obsolete and holding them back in terms of recruiting. Constant upgrades to facilities is just the reality of the college football arms race as everyone seeks to wow recruits with the latest and greatest.

by day2, the deer horns on the wall had been gnawed to stubs...
