-Says internet making the reporting process frustrating, lots of misinformation.
-Understand they need a splash, question is if it's possible. Successful coached likely don't want to leave, or holding out for a good job. Recent record hurting us.
-Lots of emails supporting Leach after article, 99% positive. Would make us national story and sell lots of tickets. Could write contract to control him.
-Chryst strength is game planning. Not face of program. Will be in demand and name circulation could be favor to both parties. Could do worse than him.
-Talks of "A Tubby Smith hire" statement, and if coordinator is hired, statement of where program is.
 

I concur with all of Phil's points. Dude's alright.

Though obviously their record did not help, the last two games showed some positives.

Everyone claims there is lots of misinformation out one side of their mouth, and then spit speculation out the other side. Nobody knows what the hell they're talking about. We could have had our guy locked in two weeks ago, or maybe everyone is turning us down??? We'll be a lot happier when we all just come to the conclusion that NOBODY in the media has any idea what is going on, and it is driving them nuts! It's hilarious, really.
 

If they hired Leach you'd have to kiss recruiting and the Spring Game good-bye. It would take MONTHS to get that contract negotiated and signed! :)
