Phil Miller blog: Kill game-planned for everything, even seizures

Too bad he couldn't gameplan to beat the worst program in Division 1 football. A program with 4 winning seasons in the last 43 years, a team that hasn't sniffed a bowl game in 50 years, an NCAA record. On the bright side, they actually are a Division 1 program from a Divison 1 conference, not USD or North Dakota or Pacific.

These negative posts sicken me. God help all of the negative, shallow Gopher "fans". A cancer survivor Coach runs on the field with a brain cancer 10 year old girl in his first home game, has a siezure and people are all experts on football and coach Kill. Shame on all of You. Karma is a bitch!

You are a tool. And if the NCAA held records for such a thing I'm sure your name would pop up. Get a perspective.

Mick, perhaps the cupboard was a little more bare than we thought after wins against Illinois and Iowa last year. I will admit to maybe having my hopes lifted too much after the team was able to hang with USC. Clearly this team has farther to go than I thought. But, he's only had these kids for 2 games. It's going to take time to get the right talent, and coach away some of the bad habits from the Brewster years.

We lost by 7 points. We had more than a couple of opportunities to tie the game. We were in this game until Marqueis got sacked on 4th down with some 20 seconds to go. Despite all grumblings and complaints by Gopher fans, we were not out of this game until New Mexico State got the ball with 8 seconds to go. So for all you folks who want to find feces lining our cloud, the fact is we fought hard until the bitter end. Make fun of New Mexico State all you want, but judge them not until the end of the season. They may not be as bad as you make them out to be, and we may not be as bad as you make our Golden Gophers out to be. If we had lost by 3 touchdowns and did not have a chance to climb back into this game, I would be more concerned.
