Pharrel Payne visiting Indiana this week.

Steal away enough of the top talent and I have no doubt that fans who don't really have an allegiance to a team start watching those leagues instead.
Absolutely not. People watch for the drama of the games. School vs school. NOT for the players.

NOBODY watches the G-League.

it’s crazy that this is even a debate. The top 250 college players could go play for the USFL next year. ESPN will be debating if the 251st best player will sign with Bama or Ohio St. it is the tradition and pageantry that make collegiate sports what it is.

Back to Pharrell…

Minnesota transfer big man Pharrel Payne took a visit to IU recently, but his process could be impacted by the Ballo decision as well. Ryan James of 247Sports is reporting Payne is visiting Texas A&M this weekend, followed by visits to Texas and Oregon. At this point Payne appears unlikely to land at Indiana.

NOBODY watches a USC game to see the mechanics of Caleb Williams' throwing motion.

NOBODY watches a Gophers basketball game to see the talents of the players.

The money is generated because we like the schools. The games. Without the school logo...there is no money.

You don't think anyone watched a USC game because of Caleb Williams? You are living outside of reality.
