Unless something mighty strange happens Gopher FB season is over Nov 27.

Bryant Allen can move to the BB team right away rather than wait for our BOWL Game.

The extra month of BB Practice should help Allen a great deal in preparation for the B10 season.

Devoe had the best moments of anyone in the 'Canadian games' so maybe he will be the backup to Nolan at PG. But if Tubby wanted to keep Devoe at the 2G rather than move him between positions, Bryant could wind up making the rotation as backup PG for the B10 season especially with the 'potential' for his extra practice time this year.

Allen has PG skills. He would help out with 5-10 minutes of back-up play.

I wouldn't mind him being the immediate back up to Al. From everything I've heard Maverick is not ready to contribute at all. Allan is fast, can shoot, and has the handling skills to play pg. I'd like to see more of him this year.

R U kidding me? The Gophers (that's Golden Gophers) are tied for the B10 football standings lead (0-0)! Six or seven more victories and we're off to the Rose Bowl

Based on what I have seen out of Maverick so far, I don't expect him to get many minutes at PG this season. Since Devoe took over at the point when Al was out last season, with Al back this season, it will be interesting to see how much time Devoe spends at PG. A rotation of Al, Devoe, Blake and Austin Hollins at the guard positions would be a pretty solid group. The early reports indicate Armelin may also be a candidate for some minutes at the guard position this year. Allen has some bb skills but he did not look like a difference maker when he played late last season. I would guess that Allen would be an emergency back-up if there are injuries.

god i hope youre being facetious

I heard that if you put a $1 on Minnesota Football to win the Big Ten, you win the entire state of Nevada?

I think Hollins may splt his PT between WF and SG back-up duty. Armelin may see PT at SG instead.

Allen will be a good practice opponent for Nolen or Joseph at PG.

The Maverick signing has me scratching my head...everything I've heard is that he isn't ready and that he just isn't overall that good. Why not save the scholly? I'll trust that the coaching staff saw something they liked...

Bryant Allen can shoot the ball a little bit and has a decent handle, I think the extra practice will help him and I can see him playing 5-10 mns a game if needed.
