Now that Peterson is out of the National Championship run, he will be coming to Minnesota!
 

If he becomes the Gophers job he is doing it for the Payday. After their loss last night and the fact they are moving to a tougher conference, he could move to get a big payday before things go backwards. Just a thought.

I think he is a good coach but not one that would have the same success at MN.
 

I remember you making a bold call about who the head coach would be. So bold, in fact, that you refused to provide a name. Some, of course, would say that is the opposite of bold, but let's not split hairs. I, for one, loved the "I know who it is and will tell you if I was right after it is announced" approach.

So, the question remains: Is Peterson your man?

I still think there is a chance that Dungy may feel sorry for his old school and change his mind. It might be a slim chance but I would not be shocked if it happened.

Well, that is certainly bold. I don't share your optimism and would be absolutely shocked if it happened, but we might as well aim high.
 


I've heard that Maturi is determined to get this hire right. He doesn't want a Tim Brewster hire all over again. He's learned from the process last time and made sure he got a jump on the process by firing Brewster early. I think this time he's determined to get a winner. Very few coaching positions opening up certianly helps this hire. I would not be suprised if it's a name no one expects! A person that comes out of nowhere like Tuddy did. Maybe Urban Meyer is tired of getting all those chest pains.

A question (and I mean this with all the respect you deserve): Are you mentally challenged? Seriously.
 


Spelling of a name has no effect on wether a coach comes here or not. Everyone was spelling Brewsters name wrong and unfortunely he came here! Maybe Peterson will come here!
 




The mighty dollar will get the right coach here! Spelling aside!

Yep, and I actually think we need this same idea if Mullen is our new coach.
 


There isn't another coach in the country I would rather get then Petersen. If we got him we would have one of the brightest futures in the entire big ten.
