UIC played that 1-2-2 that Minnesota played last year with Carter at the point. He really bothered the Illinois shooters. When he was out with 4 fouls Illinois hit a couple of quick threes and went ahead. As soon as he came back in UIC came back.

In the win against Wisconsin at the Kohl, PC was very active rebounding and playing defense. He can be really good - just inconsistent and light for the front line. Hope he gets a chance to play professionally in Europe or Asia.

Art still isn't over his badgers choking that game away at Kohl. I'm sure he'd rather not think about Paul Carter ever again.

Last year's win over Wisconsin was also the big "shaved head" game in honor of Paul Carter's sister. Paul Carter 3, Wisconsin 0.

How can you not like Paul Carter?

Great kid, great attitude, great sacrifice to be near his family in a time of need. And who can forget "the block" at Wisconsin?
