When the Gophers throw it's like they are just trying to survive the play, like they're timidly walking on egg shells. All day and all night I see team after team aggressively throw downfield like a boss. Creative, aggressive, vertical plays. Why can't/don't we do that, ever?

Their best drive was in the fourth quarter when they passed more than (or asmuch as) they ran. They can do it, and need to do it more. And you're right -- they need to take some shots down field. However, the line needs to get better to make that happen.

Our two glaring weaknesses are OLine and DLine. OLine is young, we only lose Pirsig and he's no loss. DLine is about 4 players short of being decent, so they are in more trouble...

and the great part on offense is we lose our rs sr qb. Seems like we can never have the guys coming through together to make a special team.
