The Good?: What a great way to start 2010. ... the Boilers vs. West Virginia in a yummy matchup at Mackey Arena. Think there will be some toughness displayed on the floor as these two hard-nosed coaches and their teams go at it?

The (not so) Bad?: After disposing of South Dakota State in the first round of the Paradise Jam, the Boilers will get tested against likely opponents BC and/or Tennessee/Northern Iowa.

The Ugly?: No matter how they try to sugar-coat it, the Wooden Tradition bombed this year. Ball State vs. the Boilers isn't exact the headliner Matt Painter was looking for.
