The Good?: New coach Ken Bone will find out a lot about his team when it travels to Gonzaga & Kansas State back to back in early December.

The (not so) Bad?: Bone will play his former school (2-time defending Big Sky champion Portland State) in a mid-December netural-site game. No word yet whether Neil Lomax will show up.

The Ugly?: Wazzu will get little out of the Great Alaska Shootout, which is sadly dying a slow death. Oklahoma could be waiting in the finals of the "pool play" (what is this, Little League?), but until then it's UA-Anchorage and Nicholls State. ... woohoo!!
